Position: Roving Leasing Specialist (RRT)

Location: National Traveling

Key Qualifications: As a Roving Leasing Specialist, you will be responsible for working with on-site teams nationally to improve performance and assist with onboarding and/or staffing needs. Responsibilities include but are not limited to showing the community, qualifying prospective residents, answering phones, securing appointments, completing follow-up tasks, continual marketing efforts, and preleasing available apartment homes across our Affordable and Luxury (Signature) Portfolios, including lease-ups.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and document prospective resident information and activity up to date in property management software, including all follow-ups following company policies.
  • Show model and/or market-ready units pre-determined by the property manager.
  • Assist prospects with the electronic application process.
  • Communicate monetary requirements, including application fees, deposits, etc.
  • Review the application for completion and accuracy before compliance submission.
  • Works as a liaison with the compliance department to promptly collect missing documentation or clarifications.
  • Completes all move-in processes:
  • You will also serve our existing residents and provide excellent customer service to increase resident retention.
  • Work with the marketing team to create and distribute marketing materials as directed by the Property Ops Associate.
  • Assists Property Manager/Leasing Manager/District Manager with the development and execution of marketing plans.
  • Maintains monthly market survey with updated rates, occupancy, incentives, and all other pertinent information.
  • Ensure models and market-ready apartments are open and refreshed daily.
  • Must achieve a closing ratio based on community-set goals.
  • Assist in planning and execution of community-wide events.

Requirements

  • Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred

  • Experience:

  • Minimum of two years prior multi-family experience required; twenty-four months of residential rental and office experience and/or training. Lease-up experience preferred. Proficiency in Yardi software products preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Soft Suite and Property Management software, specifically YardiS7. Experience with CRMIQ, CRMFlex, EliseAI, and Yardi Elevate is a PLUS!
