Seasonal (SEAS) position
An individual who is responsible for the safety and well-being of participants in a recreational activity. The Recreation Assistant will instruct activities in accordance with the policies and guidelines set by the Recreation Division.
Youth Fire Academy Recreation Assistants will:
- Assist with the supervision of program activities.
- Manage participants' well-being during the day. Includes making sure participants stay hydrated, apply sunscreen, and more.
- Engage participants during activities, in between activities, and during meal times
- Handle any necessary disciplinary actions.
Program DatesMonday, July 15 - Friday, July 19, 2024, 8:00am - 4:00pm at the Hyannis Fire Department's Station
Minimum QualificationsExperience supervising activities.
Experience working with kids.
$15.00 hourly, no benefits.
