Account Manager- (Sales)

We are looking for a candidate with an entrepreneurial mindset and is self-motivated. This will be a remote role (must be located in one of the metro areas listed). The ideal candidate will have the mechanical contractor/system integrator relationships in either or both metro areas listed. Experienced in sales of BAS/BMS/HVAC products OR a BAS/BMS/HVAC controls application engineer/technician who communicates well, has strong relationships with mechanical contractors and also has the desire to move into a sales role.

Role description

• selling building management system/building management system/HVAC controls components and systems to mechanical contractors and system integrators
• Cover the MO (and extended area) calling on Mechanical and System integrators.
• Communicate/track/document project and sales opportunities
• Call on consulting engineers as required. 0
• develop product and project quotations.
• Provide light technical assistance as needed to customers
• Assist and facilitate training by factory reps to customers on products and systems

Job requirements

• BAS/BMS/HVAC controls (and affiliated components) knowledge
• Tridium N4 knowledge/certification (not required but a plus)
• 4 plus years of experience in BAS/BMS/HVAC controls system or product sales OR an experienced application engineer/controls technician who has the relationships, communicates well and desires to move into a outside sales role.
