Content Marketing Specialist

CME Corp is looking for a Content Marketing Specialist to create engaging, customer-focused content that supports our digital marketing strategies. As part of CME Corp s marketing team, you will partner with the merchandisers, the web team, and business stakeholders to help craft a wide variety of content for the website, social media posts, blogs, press releases, sales support literature and e-mails. This individual will contribute towards enhancing our SEO, customer acquisition, and evolving our digital footprint. This role is remote, but it should be in local and commuting distance to the corporate office located in Warwick, RI.



What You ll Do:

  • Write a wide range of engaging B2B content that shares CME Corp s solutions:, web copy, case studies, infographics, blogs, press releases, e-mail campaigns, social media posts, and so much more.
  • Own, create and optimize site content for search engines (SEO), and help build organic search traffic through SEO techniques, such as on-page optimization, link building, and hyperlocal SEO. Perform keyword research, competitive analysis, and updated meta tags according to best practices.
  • Own the social media channels, engage with the community followers, and create engaging posts to help drive brand awareness and customer acquisition.
  • Collaborate with different business teams to discuss/oversee/manage the creation, production and logistics of new and existing sales support collateral.
  • Improve the customer experience on our website through content improvement, integration and lead capture.
  • Create, manage, and execute on a content calendar with various stakeholders in the business. Coordinate across multiple teams to ensure content is executed on schedule.



What You Should Have:

  • Bachelor s degree in marketing, literature, communications, or any other related field.
  • 3+ years digital copywriting, digital marketing or content marketing experience.
  • The ability to learn new topics and write compelling B2B content about them (blogs, how-to s, etc.).
  • Experience using HubSpot or similar tool for social media management, content management and performance measurement.
  • Experience in writing and executing B2B email campaigns, knowledge of SalesForce e-mail programs is a plus.
  • Knowledge and understanding of SEO, including keyword research, meta-data, link building, and best practices.
  • B2B social media fluency, native use and knowledge of LinkedIn, Facebook, X, and Instagram.
  • Curiosity, attention to detail, collaboration, and the ability to effectively multi-task is a plus.

What Would Be Great To Have:

  • Experience using Magento, or similar platform and SalesForce CRM.
  • Experience creating short form product/informational videos.
  • An understanding of HTML & CSS.
