General electrical assembly position - all duties can be trained but some experience is desired.

Expect about 1 to 1.5 hours for interview which includes:

1 Basic math test (subtraction, addition, multiplication)

2 Soldering test (DON'T BURN THE WIRE CASINGS)

3 Manuel Comprehension test (Can they read in English)

4 Color test (Can they see color)

VERY Clean and organized facility.VERY Quite work space

Looking for dexterity/ attention to detail.Seated most of the day.

Entry Level Assembler: $15.00

General electrical assembly position - all duties can be trained but some experience is desired.

Job Duties: stripping wire, removing jacket from cable, crimping terminals, inserting terminals into connectors, tie wrapping, some soldering of wires (if they have the ability).

General assembly to our customers' drawings and Genco's internal work instructions.

With internal training and step by step work instructions, almost anyone with the desire, motor skills, speed and attention to detail can perform these duties.

Some jobs are very simple and require repetitive motion while others are more challenging to assemble when the associate becomes more seasoned.

Most jobs are done seated and at a workstation but may require standing and bending as well.

Must be able to read a ruler, count accurately and be able to distinguish colors.

The ability to harness and/or read prints is a plus!!! High School/GED education required.

Electronic Technician/High Level Assembler: $15-19

The balance of the job duties entail some very basic through higher level electrical assembly: stripping wire and crimping wire with terminals, inserting terminals into connectors, soldering, tinning wire, etc, as well as some machine work (crimping/terminating and set-up).

General assembly to our customers' drawings and Genco's internal work instructions.

Building a first article while developing the assembly instruction and photographing each step is also a requirement.

Must be able to read prints.

The ability to read a schematic is helpful.

Some jobs are very simple and require repetitive motion while others are more challenging to assemble-including control panels, electromechanical assemblies, etc.

Working in a cell and working independently are both required of this position.

Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.

Most jobs are done seated and at a workstation but may require standing and bending for extended lengths of time as well.

Must be able to read a ruler and count accurately.

Attention to detail is key!

Mechanical and Electrical aptitude is helpful.

At least 2 years of experience in related work or Associates Degree required.

The position requires both hands on and mental aptitude for success.
