G.I. JOHNS is looking to hire a full-time Inventory Specialist for their Maintenance team at their Manassas Park, VA location from Monday - Friday from 6 AM - 4 PM. This is a critical role supporting the day-to-day execution of a rapidly growing portable sanitation company that takes pride in doing things the right way and executing the impossible.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Supervise and ensure equipment readiness.
  • Responsible for inventory tracking and procurement (i.e., the inventory management system) to include portable units, rolling stock, installation hardware, tools, liquids, paper products, etc.
  • Upload and maintain the G.I. JOHNS inventory management system for location tracking, availability, and life cycle projection.
  • Oversee the company's compliance with existing fire codes as directed by the Manassas Park Locality.
  • Project inventory status and inform management of impending orders.
  • Responsible for the installation of the inventory hardware via including Cam Code QR Tags to all corresponding pieces of equipment.
  • Accept all deliveries and ensure that they are stocked and uploaded to the Inventory Management System accordingly.
  • Inform the Dispatch Department of inventory status on a weekly basis to ensure orders can be fulfilled in a timely manner.
  • Keep management informed of trends, trouble, patterns of business, market sentiment, and the ever-changing environment we operate in day-to-day.
  • Assist with organizational systems.
  • Supervise project/task completion.
  • Assist with installations of sanitary systems and procurement of supplies therein.
  • Assist with special events.
  • Supervise the equipment repair process.
  • Upkeep of tools/equipment.
  • Deploy on repair/maintenance calls.
