Treasury Analyst

Job Profile:

The Regent Holding Company Treasury Analyst has the primary responsibility of analyzing and monitoring the company s financial resources to help meet the company s goals. The Treasury Analyst is continuously managing cash flows and identifying financial risks across the businesses. Working with the Treasury Manager, CFO, and the businesses finance teams, this role is actively involved in assuring that the short- and long-term cash plans enable continued growth.


Primary Responsibilities:


Cash Management

  • Work with the businesses to proactively optimize cash flows
  • Develop and maintain the 13 week corporate cash forecast looking to continuously improve its accuracy and accountability
  • Continuously work with the business to understand cash forecast variances and develop mitigation plans where possible
  • Develop and maintain long-term future cash and covenant projections
  • Monitor and report on bank account balances, inflows, and outflows
  • Assure that reasonable controls are implemented and maintained


Banking & Finance

  • Along with the Treasury Manager and CFO, maintain banking relationships
  • Along with the Treasury Manager and CFO, negotiate bank agreements
  • Prepare bank, lender, and underwriting reporting
  • Continuously evaluate banking needs and opportunities to improve liquidity and add value
  • Develop programs and tools to support the businesses in areas including leasing, supply chain financing, credit card receipts, purchase cards, and others
  • Be a key contributor concerning acquisitions including capital sourcing and financial modeling


Risk Management

  • Continuously evaluates risk tolerance and updates/implements policies and practices as needed in areas including liquidity, insurances, customer credit, accounts payable, currencies, operations, and other areas.
  • Support the businesses with commercial insurance administration




Tax Administration

  • Be the tax liaison between the businesses and third party preparers

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Required:


Education

  • Relevant four-year business degree
  • Certification preferred
  • Masters preferred


Experience & Experience

  • 5+ years of relevant experience including significant hands-on cash management
  • Strong systems background with the ability and experience of analyzing large amounts of data
  • Good accounting knowledge
