As a DevOps Engineer, you will be an expert who supports our developers, implements best practices, and ensures smooth code deployment to production servers. You will optimize software development processes, focusing on efficiency and reliability, with expertise in operating system design and database management systems software installation. You will be critical in supporting, testing, maintaining, and upgrading our critical business systems.
This job is open to full-time remote employees outside of Wisconsin.

What You'll Do:
As the DevOps Engineer, you will be:
- Implementing various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure.
- Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and fixing production software issues.
- Developing monitoring solutions.
- Performing software maintenance and configuration.
- Implementing the fixes for internally developed code.
- Performing SQL queries, updating, tracking, and resolving technical challenges.
- Updating/enhancing current software, automation of support processes, and documentation of systems.
- Supporting existing manual release processes.
- Maintaining and testing various department system software to ensure correct setup.
- Managing daily technology processes for the department.
Qualifications:
- Development/related technical expertise (preferably in an Agile/Scrum environment).
- Experience working with the following technologies: PowerShell, C#, SQL, JavaScript, HTML and CSS, .NET/.NET Core applications, APIs, WordPress, Git, Azure DevOps, NuGet and Microsoft Windows infrastructure.
- Experience working with the following systems: Azure DevOps, Data Warehouse & SQL Server, ServiceNow, SugarCRM, Dynamics, and WordPress.
- Ability to ramp up quickly on both new technologies and existing technologies.
- Ability to think both tactically & strategically.
- Excellent documentation skills.
- Excellent technical design, problem solving, and debugging skills.
- Excellent collaborative skills, with strong written and verbal communication.
- Self-motivated team player who can run with a project and is willing to pitch in as needed.
