Role Overview

The Financial Analyst reports directly to the US Finance Director and has responsibilities across North America.It's a tremendous opportunity to work with an experienced leadership team and market leader supporting growth in both product and software markets.Due to the limited layers in the company, you get a great developmental experience.This is not your run-of-the-mill finance reporting role.

Key Responsibilities

  • This position will play a critical role in building financial reporting to promote transparency and effective decision making.
  • Provide ad-hoc support to the broader Supply Chain team as needed.
  • Prepare management reports, analyzing current and past trends providing analysis of the key areas, risks, and opportunities, and assisting management in developing action plans.
  • Own monthly rolling forecast consolidations and reporting, drive timeline with cross-functional partners
  • Liaison with other department managers and accounting personnel to answer financial reporting questions.
  • Assist other Finance team members with analysis, presentations and KPI reporting.
  • Leverage various financial tools to improve forecasts and KPIs, drive efficiencies and deliver added insights to the business.
  • This position prepares expense plans, forecasts, analyses, and reports.
  • In this position, the Financial Analyst will develop and maintain financial models and scalable analytics tools.
  • The role will require close partnership with business leadership to develop actionable plans and forecasts to achieve business goals and create shareholder value.
  • Support Finance transformation efforts leveraging Power BI and Adaptive.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to management.
  • Drive US Supply Chain and Operations budget and service as a functional partner.

In this onsite role, you'll have a defined work office location at the Neptune facility in Tallassee, AL.

What we are looking for ...

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
  • 0-3 years of relevant experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strategic and analytical thought partner with strong financial acumen
  • Familiarity with financial systems (e.g. MS Excel models, pivot tables and Power BI)
  • Experience leveraging Business Analytics tools and dashboards
  • Team player with a positive attitude and ability to develop effective and influential business relationships.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Process improvement mindset/skillset
  • Project management skills/change agent
