WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Supervise a team of dedicated US import unloading associates to meet the daily production goals in a fast-faced environment.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Maintain a safe workplace.
Complete security checks and ensure our facility and cargo security protocols are maintained.
Uphold good housekeeping practices.
Distribute work to smaller teams for action on a per-container basis.
Manage the workload and resources to meet production goals.
Assist with account specialization and customer-specific needs.
Manage agency associate resources.
Liaise with 1st and 2nd shift operations through email.
Complete the daily container list outlining the entire day s production.
Complete the facility-closing checklist and properly shut down the facility (close) at the end of the shift.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma
5 years of warehouse experience
Ability to work in a high-pressure and demanding environment
Ability to stand for 8 hours at a time
Ability to lift up to 45 lbs from the floor
English language (read/write/speak)
Preferred: Bi-Lingual (English/Spanish)
Preferred: Proficiency in MS Excel
Forklift driver certify preferred
