Position: Vice President of Supply Chain Operations

Location: Rosemont IL / Hybrid OR Remote


Overview: The Vice President of Supply Chain Operations will influence strategic initiatives aimed at optimizing efficiency, reducing costs, and elevating customer satisfaction across multiple business units, globally. Reporting directly to the Global President of Culligan Consumer Products, your role will entail strategizing and coordinating the entirety of the supply chain. We are seeking a strategic leader with expertise in supply chain management and omnichannel distribution within a global retail and consumer organization.


Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage short, mid, and long-term goals and objectives.
  • Maintain category and market insights including knowledge of key vendors.
  • Develops benchmarks and metrics including a routine scorecard to set baseline standards and review for improvement opportunities.
  • Coordinate and oversee company Procurement working with operational management to accomplish enterprise wide and business unit strategic directives.
  • Identify and develop new/current suppliers who have the capacity and capability to meet the cost, quality and service needs of the business.
  • Lead supplier development and strategic supply base management.
  • Understand competitive trends in to ensure Culligan Consumer Products has right competitive supply solutions.
  • Develop and drive Procurement talent management processes including the development of talent pipelines for Procurement.
  • Leverage and/or deploy best-in-class procurement tools and automation.
  • Strategically coordinate and optimize 3PL partnerships for seamless integration and efficiency.
  • Implement best practices for supplier performance evaluation and risk management.
  • Responsible for the ERP implementation for all items pertaining to supply chain.
  • Advocate for continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence.
  • Cultivate a culture of cooperation and teamwork.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management, consumer products, and Global Consumer Products Division distribution.
  • Expertise in coordinating third-party logistics partnerships.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, inventory management, and logistics.
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and navigate complex challenges.
  • Preferred Spanish fluency.
