As a Counselor, you will play a vital role in providing clinical assessment, individual and family therapy related to child abuse issues for children, adolescents, non-offending adults, and families. You will also facilitate psychoeducational groups for non-offending guardians, caretakers, and adolescents. This role requires a commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and adhering to the company s policies and procedures.

Focus:
- Conduct clinical assessments and providing therapy to children, adolescents, non-offending adults, and families dealing with child abuse issues.
- Facilitate psychoeducational groups for non-offending guardians, caretakers, and adolescents.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client files in accordance with OBHL, center policies, and forensic standards.
- Participate in weekly supervision sessions to discuss cases, treatment goals, and intervention strategies.
- Coordinate services with a multidisciplinary team, including law enforcement, CPS, medical staff, and forensic interviewers.
- Provide court testimony when necessary.
- Represent the organization through speaking engagements, educational opportunities, and public appearances.
- Participate in center-based self-care and team-building activities.
- Carrying out other assigned duties.
Skill Set:
- Master s degree in Counseling or Social Work.
- Independent license as a LPC or LCSW.
- Experience working with children with complex trauma issues.
- Ability to be a productive collaborative team member.
- Passion for helping clients while maintaining a healthy work/life balance.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
- Good understanding of clinical diagnoses and evidence-based interventions for mental health conditions.
