The goal of our team is to focus on each patient as an individual to ensure that we are meeting their clinical needs and creating a fun and dynamic healing environment. Each employees dedication is essential to meet and exceed the needs of each patient, resident and family we serve.
The cook will prepare, season and cook food for hospital patients, staff and visitors.
**Qualifications**
* Must have high school diploma.
* Previous experience in food service/preparation is required.

I've worked for many healthcare organizations in my career, all of which have been larger than Kindred Hospital where I'm currently at, but no facility has offered a bigger opportunity for me to feel like I make a difference on a day-to-day basis when I come in and out of these doors. When you see someone come off a ventilator that they said never would, or someone can speak and they said they never would, or you helped a family member through a difficult time while they were supporting their loved one, those are incredibly rewarding things and what keeps me coming in and out of this door, knowing that every single day that I make a significant difference in people's lives and I can't tell you how rewarding that is and I can't wait to see what happens to today.
