Our intimates fashion client is hiring for an Associate Designer!

This role is located in Chatsworth, CA.


Temp to hire

Pay rate: $28-31/hr with $60-65k salary upon conversion


Responsibilities:

Support with on brand and trend relevant designs that align with the brands aesthetic and style guidelines, demonstrating a keen understanding of current market trends and translating them into compelling and commercially viable product designs.

Act as a liaison between the Chief Product Officer, Designers and various stakeholders teams (cross-functional teams such as Production, Raw Materials, etc.)

Assist and create the preparation of design presentations and boards, including creating visual materials, organizing content, and ensuring a polished professional outcome.

Conduct ongoing market research alongside your manager including color inspiration, trend, fabrics, prints, trims, hardware, and new craft techniques staying updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and design innovations.

Supports Designers with Competition Samples and racks - organization & management.

Support with the creation and build of sell-in needs and design documents.

Assist in the creation and maintenance of design documentation including:

o Technical sketches- must have excellent CAD ing skills (Illustrator/Photoshop/Procreate, if applicable)

o Print Design and Print Development (must be able to create repeats and recolors)

o Tech Packs/Design Cards

o Sketch Updates

o Product Assortment One Pagers

o Color by Style Files

o Lab Dip requests

o Color BOMs

o Technical Specs (measuring garments)

o Organizing and Expanding Sketch Library (Flats)
