Flight Operations Pilot


Job Details

We are currently looking for a Pilot to join our flight department based out of Lunken airport in Cincinnati, Ohio. Falcon 900 LX or Falcon 7X experience is preferred, but not required.


Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

  • Ensures all preflight requirements are met, necessary documentation is in place and / or on board, and that the aircraft s exterior / interior is prepared for flight.
  • Analyzes and recommends flight plans, routes, speed, fuel requirements and take-off and landing times to fulfill scheduling requirements.
  • Reviews and incorporates weather conditions and patterns into route planning and into pre-flight and / or In-flight communications to passengers.
  • Coordinates fueling, de-icing, flight clearances and other necessary flight operations. Coordinates the payment of airfield / airport fees.
  • Conducts and documents pre-flight visual inspections. Completes flight planning, performance, and weight and balance for each flight as required.
  • Maintains communication with maintenance, dispatch, air traffic control and / or fixed base operation (FBO) personnel when conducting flights. May contact dispatch for approval before commencing a flight while operating under part 135 and / or when a customer requests to alter the original trip request while on the ground.
  • Ensures the appropriate servicing and maintenance of the aircraft. Verifies all aircraft logs and records for accuracy and mission readiness.
  • May participate in providing informational updates to passengers throughout the flight (current location, landmarks, turbulence, destination s, weather, etc.).
  • May arrange for ground transportation at destinations and / or other services.
  • May assist in completing and providing reports and paperwork (trip reports, post-flight documentation, receipts for customer billing, required regulatory reports, etc.) to management.
  • Maintains currency with and ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and local, state, federal and international flight regulations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree is preferred in Aviation Management or related discipline.

Possesses Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airline Transport Pilot certificate (ATP). FAA first class medical certificate and restricted radio/telephone operator s permit required.

Accumulated 2500 hours total flight time, 1000 hours of jet or turbine flight time. Approval from insurer and Chief Pilot required. Previous heavy jet (25k+ pounds) preferred.

Meets the international PIC requirements of ICAO annex1 section 2.1.10.

The starting salary range for this position is $155K-$190K.
