IT Support

The IT Support team is responsible for maintaining and implementing systems, applications, and networking configurations to ensure those systems run smoothly and effectively. This individual will monitor those systems, perform installations, configure hardware/software, and solve technical issues as they arise.

Job Requirements/Responsibilities:

  • Answers, evaluates, and prioritizes requests from associates having questions or experiencing problems with a service or products.
  • Undertaking both on-site and remote tasks for store locations encompassing POS system management, workstation deployments, network configurations, technical repairs, troubleshooting desktop operating system failures, and meticulous documentation adhering to established protocols.
  • Keeps up with new technologies, industry certifications, and continuous training.
  • Availability for support is required during non-standard hours, including weekends (Thursday-Monday 10a-7p).
  • Strong logical step-by-step based problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel to store locations as needed.
  • Demonstrates strong listening skills to interpret and address a store or associate request.
  • Must be resourceful and be able to take initiative in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong written & oral communication skills.
  • Willing to gain certification on IT products, software, and hardware systems.
  • Must be self-motivated.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to teamwork and embodies the ethos of hospitality synonymous with Cameron Mitchell Restaurants.


Education/Experience:

  • CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, or 3+ years recent computer, server, and network troubleshooting experience.
  • Proficiency in utilizing Toast and Aloha PoS systems is essential.


Qualifications:

  • POS systems in the restaurant/hospitality industry
  • Knowledge of PC/server hardware and software
  • Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Office 365 user account management
  • Windows 10 Workstation setup and installation
  • Windows Server 2019 and 2022
  • Understanding of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, and VPN technologies
  • Understanding of networking devices such as routers, firewalls, switches, wireless access points, and other networking equipment
