  • As a Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of construction projects across the Costa Rica Site. Projects include small construction projects directly related to facility upgrades, business operations, renovations, as well as corporate strategic capital investments.
    Job Responsibilities:
    - Assists in safety and quality culture and defining project scope, budget, developing project timelines, and ensuring successful execution of construction projects.
    - Responsible for clear customer alignment for each project and defining successful indicators based on project scope and customer needs prior to project initiation.
    - Requests Strategic and Ops Capital funding.
    - Interfaces directly with construction general contractors through all project phases from bidding to project closeout.
    - Executes the contracting strategy, project scope, schedules, approval requirements, project budgets, quality and change controls, and timeline of project approval requirements.
    - Reviews CSA, process, electrical, and mechanical designs associated with the construction of new buildings or optimization of existing buildings to ensure that the scope of work being designed is in alignment with the project scope baseline.

    - Ensures that deviations to scope are properly vetted per change control and trend processes.
    - Outlines construction site architecture, documents equipment requirements and conceptual designs, and maintains all other documentation related to project site.
    - Review all proposals, provide analyses of technical validity, and contribute to the negotiations of contracts and change orders.
    - Review design and construction bid packages.
    - Develops project/program indicators to manage program health including quality and timelines.
    - Communicates anomalies to senior team members by concisely stating the problem and specific impact to the project.
    - Identify and assist in the mitigation of project risks and monitor the development and implementation of corrective action plans.

Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related field.

- 5 yrs. experience in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Design, Construction Projects or related field.
- Advanced English (Written and Spoken)

- Costa Rican unrestricted work permit.

Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP Certified
- Experience in Cost Estimation, Design Process and Risk Management
- Experience in supplier management

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
