Our client is looking for a self directed consultant to take a deep dive into several complex large customers DSO balances. The client is a Fortune 100 corporation and we're seeking an experienced professional that knows how to work across a large multi-entity organization both in a strategic/problem solving capacity while being flexible and willing to personally analyze Excel data of transactional level detail as part of the root cause analysis and to resolve the existing balances. This consultant will have experience across the Order to Cash business processes and understands the upstream and downstream impacts of Accounts Receivables, Billing, Cash Application and Purchase Order processes.
Expect to connect with varies technologies and business partners for information gathering and current state analysis while operating in a collaborative manner to resolve the issues from future reoccurrence.
Initial project duration is 6 months with a high potential for extension.
Responsibilities
- Work on long-term Order to Cash projects to correct DSO and AR errors
- Help implement solutions to resolve issues and errors
- Demonstrate advanced capabilities with common business applications especially Excel
- Work cross functionally with staff and other departments in a solution focuses, hands on and collaborative manner
- Drive results by resolving outstanding AR /DSO items and resolving issues
- Document revised processes and procedures
- This engagement is directed by our client, expect some duties and responsibilities to fluctuate at the client's request within the accounting / Order to Cash business process function
Required Experience, Education, and Credentials:
- Must be willing to work onsite in Duluth, GA twice a week, hybrid. No exceptions.
- 10+ years of accounting experience, particularly within a large, Fortune 500 company
- Bachelor s Degree with Major in Accounting or Finance
- Professional communication skills
- Experience working with multiple legal entities
- Advance Excel (VBA, Macros, Power Queries)
- Experience in project consulting / professional services or Big 4 preferred

COMPENSATION PACKAGE
-Resource Solutions Consultants are paid for every hour worked and time and a half for overtime, unlike traditional employment where professionals at this level are exempt from earning overtime pay.
