Warehouse Supervisor


Job Details

Material Control Supervisor is responsible for Warehouse Operations and Maintenance functions at the Warehouse facility including but not limited to:

Building Safety, UAW Relationships, IB / OB processing, Inventory Accuracy, Absenteeism, Vacation Scheduling, ISO 14001 Environmental and daily hourly payroll processing. LPMH. Excellent organizational skills and continuous improvement mindset Able to hold people accountable to meet established goals. Manage & Direct UAW Hourly Employees for all warehousing operations Effectively assign initiatives to continuously improve performance Assign daily work to employees to meet objectives in safety, quality and lines per man hour Assure continuous improvement through direction of the PICS process and the Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) Work closely with other salary employees and UAW to deliver successful results

Carry out Company practice/policy in the areas of work standards, discipline, training, and personnel administration.

Maintain a positive working relationship with UAW employees and Leadership, including fair and equal administration of the contract

Facilitate crew meetings.

Maintain employee/work related records as required.

Utilize daily manpower forms to ensure proper utilization of personnel. (including any overtime and vacation)

Lead CIP, Safety, Ergo teams.

Actively participate in all Continuous Improvement Process Teams
