*Housekeeper will provide daily cleaning and supplying of resident/patient rooms, wards, nursing stations, lounges, offices, bathrooms, and any other assigned areas in accordance with the standard procedures of the Housekeeping Department.*
**Essential Functions/Duties and Responsibilities:**
* Perform cleaning functions in assigned areas following established written schedules including: dusting, mopping, and vacuuming
* Empty wastebaskets and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas.
* Polish silver accessories and metalwork such as fixtures and fittings.
* Spot clean walls, windows, furniture, and carpets
* Replenish all room supplies.
* Dry and wet mop floors and offices
* Make beds, sort and distribute linens.
* Report Maintenance issues to appropriate supervisor.
* Recognize fire safety hazards and respond accordingly. Recognize hazardous chemicals and advise supervisors.
* Clean and sanitize all horizontal and lateral surfaces throughout the Southminster property.
* Adhere to Southminster attendance policies.
