They are seeking a motivated and experienced Pre Litigation Associate Attorney to join their expanding team in Houston. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of pre-litigation personal injury matters, premises liability, catastrophic injury, and wrongful death cases.
- Review drafted demands and negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel.
- Supervise Case Managers to ensure efficient case progression and client communication.
- Counsel clients on legal matters, including case strategy, potential outcomes, and settlement options.
- Identify conflicts and devise strategies for successful case resolution.
- Collaborate with team members and support staff to ensure seamless case management and client service.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in the state of Texas.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in pre-litigation personal injury law on the Plaintiff's side.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to handle complex legal matters with confidence.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines effectively.
