General Description:
Patient Enrollment Specialist will work in an OsiLIFE customer environment (Healthcare Provider Clinic) to facilitate the promotion, recruitment, and enrollment of customer-referred patients into remote patient monitoring programs supported by OsiLIFE and OsiLIFE care teams.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Explain and answer questions about remote monitoring programs (patients and clinic team)
- Coordinate patient awareness activities relating to remote monitoring programs
- Talk with patients, in person and over the phone, about enrollment into remote monitoring programs
- Document patient discussions relating to remote monitoring programs
- Onboard enrollees into remote monitoring programs
- Communicate with OsiLIFE care team members with respect to new enrollees
- Communicate with customer clinic personnel with respect to new enrollees
- Gather and input patient information from customers system into software platform utilized by OsiLIFE
- Coordinate patient enrollment and activation into remote monitoring programs
- Facilitate patient information exchanges between OsiLIFE and customer (in compliance with HIPAA, OsiLIFE and customer requirements)
Desired Skills and/or Experience:
- Strong communicator with healthcare professionals and patients (verbal and written)
- Technical understanding of healthcare and clinic-based provider services
- Nurse, Medical Assistant, Nurse Assistant, Med Tech, Healthcare Administrator
- Nursing or Medical Assistant students
- Medical insurance claims administration
- Good organizational skills and a history of successful applications of these skills
- Disciplined in following protocols, processes, and procedures
- Strong data entry skills (certification to access health related records preferred)
- 3 or more years of healthcare industry experience and/or a healthcare professional degree
- Mobility and ability to work in a healthcare clinic, as well as to work remotely from home
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, SharePoint)
- Exhibit progression in responsibilities during prior employment experience
- Strong people skills with consistent professional composure in dealing with both patients and healthcare providers, as well as colleagues at OsiLIFE
