Bruker Daltonics is seeking an innovative and collaborative individual with a software background to join the proteomics team in supporting PaSER end users and contributing to the development of advanced software applications worldwide. The position requires a background in computer science. You will have strong written and communication skills, combined with organization and a general interest to engage with management, programmers, and end users. This role will specifically interface between the PaSER software development team and the customer, ensuring their success utilizing Bruker technologies.

Aufgaben/Verantwortlichkeiten:

International remote support level 2 and 3 for hardware and corresponding software

Perform (pilot) installations and install complex systems in collaboration with field service engineers

Testing our products and giving feedback on technical test results to the product development team

Close cooperation with product management as well as software development team

Understanding customer requests and ensuring positive customer experience

Identifying and recreating reoccurring, systematic or complex problems

Developing and sharing workflow solutions and technical documentation

Documentation and monitoring of customer cases and knowledgebase (CRM)

Qualifikationen:

Degree in in computer science or comparable knowledge and skills accompanying an engineering degree

General IT and networking skills, and ideally cloud skills

Hands-on experience in administration of Linux servers and knowledge of containerization

Experience in database administration and Experience with programming languages, ideally Python

Experience in software and hardware release-testing and documentation

General understanding of proteomics problem solving skills

Experience in website building and media interfaces

You enjoy working in an interdisciplinary team and are a good communicator

Customer focused personality with a keen interest in problem solving

Positive problem-solving attitude and a hands-on mentality

Willingness to interact and support customers globally

Fluent in written and spoken English and German
