The University of South Dakota Facilities Management is hiring for Facility Workers in the Custodial Services department. Available shifts are: Monday to Friday 9:00am-5:30pm; Monday to Friday 1:00pm-9:30pm; or Monday 9:00pm to Friday 5:30am.
Duties include, but are not limited to: collect and remove trash; clean and dust furniture, windows, and walls; wet mop, strip and wax floors; vacuum and shampoo carpets; mop and/or buff floors; clean and disinfect bathrooms and restock supplies; room set ups; change light bulbs and clean light fixtures; remove snow/ice; report needed repairs; and maintain a safe environment by cleaning up spills and removing hazards. The starting rate is $16/hour (plus $1.25 shift differential for the overnight shift).
