Required Skills:
At least 2 years experience working within a Data Center or a NOC in a technician or Computer Operator role
Thorough working knowledge of Mainframe MVS, COS, JES2, TSO/ISPF, TMS, and JCL.
Thorough working knowledge of an automated scheduling package, such as Automic/One Automation
Proven leadership ability in providing direction and training to other technicians.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to apply both daily in interacting with vendors, clients, management, support staff, DCO staff, and in presenting shift turnovers
Good working knowledge of Windows and PC file structure.
Superior organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks with accuracy
Superior problem determination and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail in the midst of a busy, multi-tasking environment
Ability to work weekends as part of normal 24/7 and 12 hour shift operation schedule, occasional holidays and overtime as required
Experience working with a network monitoring tool
Strong understanding of principles, practices, and administration of technical data center related issues
Experience using an enterprise ticketing system such as ServiceNow
Commitment to customer service excellence and teamwork
Self-motivated, willing to jump in and take initiative when problems or issues arise without being prompted.

Time management skills

Must be reliable
Desired Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Technology, Engineering Technology, or related technical field preferred
AS400 experience is a huge plus
Experience working in a highly secure/regulated environment is highly beneficial
