West Coast Technical Sales Representative
Protect-All Flooring, manufacturer of recycled vinyl commercial flooring products, has a remote opening for a Technical Sales Rep that will travel in the West Coast Sales Region. This is a full-time, year-round position with excellent benefits and growth potential.
Position Responsibilities:
To provide training and technical support to Protect-All customers, contractors and sales reps
Assist in the Research & Development of new and existing products
Host visiting flooring contractors for in-house and field training seminars on a monthly basis and evaluate their performance
Will be responsible for warranty inspections, trouble shooting and weekly reporting
Develop and maintain training related documents
Will develop and maintain customer relationships
Interact with other departments in the organization to ensure the proper ordering of Protect-All products
Assist with testing & ASTM information to support sales team
Other duties as assigned
Position Requirements:
Associate s degree or related equivalent experience in the flooring industry
Management or supervisory experience is a plus
A minimum of 4 years of flooring installation experience or construction related experience preferred
Must be organized and self-motivated
Must good Microsoft Office skills
Must be able to travel frequently (2 -3 weeks per month minimum)
Must have knowledge of commercial flooring installation methods
Possess outstanding communication and presentation skills
Must have the desire to demonstrate installation methods during training classes
