**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a freelance Midjourney AI Artist based in New York to join our team of creatives. The selected individual will play a crucial role in creating compelling visuals and generating AI-driven creative concepts for the fashion, beauty, and lifestyle sectors. This position requires a highly motivated individual capable of conceptualizing, creating, and executing innovative AI-based art aligned with our brand vision. The focus will be on generating engaging content across various channels, including in-store displays, online platforms, and social media.
**Responsibilities and Duties:**
- Collaborate with Slate Studios Management and creative agencies to design AI-driven projects within brand guidelines.
- Lead multi-channel creative strategy and AI-based brand development.
- Manage timelines, deliverables, and communications with creative agencies.
- Prepare AI-generated design presentations for management.
- Create AI-based layouts for final production.
- Assist in the creation and organization of AI art templates.
- Conduct conceptual and visual research for AI-generated content as required.
- Manage and maintain AI-generated logos, branding, and advertising design concepts.
**Qualifications and Skills:**
- Bachelor's degree, specializing in graphic design, art direction, or a related field.
- 3+ years of direct design experience within the fashion or beauty industry.
- Proficiency in AI art generation platforms such as Midjourney or similar tools.
- Highly organized with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong understanding and interest in current trends in fashion, beauty, design, art, music, and culture.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and consistently deliver high-quality work.
- Excellent typographic skills.
- Efficient time management and productivity.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a small team environment.
**Day Rate:**
The rate will be commensurate with experience.
