Universal Logistics Holdings, Inc is searching for a President for UACL Logistics, LLC, an Agent based Truckload Company in Warren, MI. Universal is a two billion dollar, publicly traded logistics group specializing in Intermodal, Value Added, Dedicated, Agent based Truckload, Forwarding and Brokerage. Universal services the following industries: Aerospace, Automotive, Retail, Energy, Government, Steel and Metals, Industrial Manufacturing and Healthcare.
The primary responsibility is the recruitment, development and retention of AGENTS. UACL Logistics is a $400 million dollar company operating at a 92.5 operating ratio that serves 220 plus Agents and Customers with Flatbed, Van, Refrigerated and Specialized Heavy Haul equipment. They are looking to expand to 300 agents, $500 million in revenue, with an 89 operating ratio. UACL Logistics passion is to serve small to medium sized truckload companies that want to be a part of something bigger so they can focus on their drivers and customers while UACL takes care of their Safety, Recruiting, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Customer Service, Fleet Management and Claims Management. The President of UACL Logistics will be a succession candidate to become the President of Universal Logistics Holdings. We are looking for a dynamic hands on leader that prides herself / himself on superior business and sales acumen, relationship development and retention skills. This opportunity requires 50% travel to accomplish the mission of developing those relationships with our Agents, Customers and Drivers.
