Job Summary:
Suburban Subaru is seeking an Automotive Service Appointment Coordinator to join our team in Vernon, Connecticut. As an Automotive Service Appointment Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting customers with scheduling appointments for vehicle service, maintenance, and recalls. You will also be responsible for maintaining a positive and professional relationship with customers while ensuring the efficient operations of the service department.
Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time, hourly position in the automotive industry. This position does include every Saturday and weeknights until 5pm. Responsibilities:
Answer and direct incoming phone calls to the dealership.
Schedule appointments for vehicle service and maintenance based on customer needs and availability.
Greet and assist all customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Provide information about service options, pricing, and estimated completion time.
Maintain accurate and organized customer records in the dealership's database.
Monitor and manage the service department's appointment schedule to ensure timely and efficient operations.
Follow up with customers to confirm appointments and inform them of any changes.
Handle and resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and concerns in a timely and satisfactory manner.
Maintain a daily high outbound call volume to recalls, prior customers, and declined services.
Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements:
Prior multi-line phone experience is a must
Previous customer service experience, preferably in the automotive industry.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient computer skills and ability to learn dealership software.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Availability to work every Saturday and weeknights until 5pm.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
