Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as repairing plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC systems, and appliances.
  • Conduct inspections to identify maintenance issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from tenants, employees, or management.
  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform necessary repairs.
  • Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies needed for maintenance tasks.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and inspections.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
  • As needed, assist with setting up for banquet, commencement, convocations, etc.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in general maintenance or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
  • attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with tenants, coworkers, and management.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Basic computer skills for recording maintenance activities and communicating with management.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new maintenance techniques.
