**Hybrid - 4 days a week onsite in Boston, MA.**


Our insurance client is looking for a Solutions Architect to join their team.


Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.


Pay Rate: Up to $85.00/hr on W2


Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be taken into account when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting is a reflection of a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided pay range.


W2 employees of Eliassen Group who are regularly scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week are eligible for the following benefits: medical (choice of 3 plans), dental, vision, pre-tax accounts, other voluntary benefits including life and disability insurance, 401(k) with match, and sick time if required by law in the worked-in state/locality.


Responsibilities of the Solutions Architect:

  • Understand business requirements and design innovative solutions using UIPath, Java, J2EE, Spring, Angular, AWS, Kubernetes
  • Develop architectural designs and provide technical guidance throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Implement best practices and standards for software development, ensuring scalability, security, and performance of solutions
  • Analyze and improve the technical architecture of processes before automation
  • Sign off on the business automation and technical requirements
  • Design automation solutions using UiPath and other relevant technologies
  • Oversee the development of the automation projects and components according to the solution design and requirements
  • Oversee the testing, deployment, hypercare, and monitoring stages
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and architectural principles
  • Conceive solutions, build consensus, and execute hands-on development tasks when necessary
  • Focus on strategies for creating value across products, distribution channels, agency interfaces, and customer interfaces
  • Analyze the current architecture to identify weaknesses and opportunities for improvements


Requirements of the Solutions Architect:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and 5 to 7 years of experience in technology architecture
  • Proven experience as a Solution Architect or similar role
  • Hands-on experience with cloud computing platforms
  • Experience in designing and implementing RPA solutions using UIPath or similar tools
  • Experience with application integration
  • Experience with J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, and SOA
  • Experience with EAP, WebSphere, and Tomcat
  • Strong background in Java, J2EE, Spring, Angular, AWS, Kubernetes, serverless lambda, and RPA (UIPath)
  • Strong understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and containerization technologies
  • In-depth knowledge of software design principles, patterns, and best practices
  • Knowledge of the Drools rules engine
  • Familiarity with web content management, document management, and collaboration tools
