Caseload: Less than 30 high school students

Description:

Are you a compassionate Licensed School Social Worker seeking a fulfilling opportunity to work with high school students? Clarifi Staffing Solutions is currently seeking a Licensed School Social Worker to join a high school population near Naperville, IL.

As a School Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting students' social and emotional well-being. You will provide direct counseling and social work services to students, manage crises, collaborate with teachers and administrators on behavioral support systems, and much more.

Responsibilities:

Direct Service:

• Manage student crises, including post-crisis follow-up and liaison with outside providers.
• Provide one-on-one and group counseling/social work services to students.
• Meet with parents to provide resources and support.
• Observe students in the classroom and consult with teachers on concerns.
• Collaborate with students, parents/guardians, school leaders, and community stakeholders.
• Attend discipline meetings for students with multiple behavior concerns.
• Manage outside social service providers and consult on student concerns with applicable confidentiality laws.

Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS):

• Collaborate with teachers and administration on MTSS for students needing intensive behavioral support.
• Develop, monitor, and implement tier 2 and 3 interventions with MTSS team support.

Restorative Practices (RP):

• Mediate student conflicts.
• Consult with discipline team and school leadership.

Requirements

• Master's degree in social work.
• PEL Certification with School Social Work endorsement (PEL 181/Type 73).
