Role Description
This is a full-time Litigation Associate role with flexibility for some remote work. The Litigation Associate will be responsible for day-to-day tasks of drafting pleadings and motions, conducting legal research, preparing and answering discovery, taking and defending depositions, appearing in court, and assisting with trial preparation.
Qualifications/Skills
- 1-3 years of experience is preferred
- Strong knowledge of law, legal procedures, and regulations
- Proficiency in drafting pleadings and motions
- Experience in conducting legal research and preparing legal briefs
- Ability to take and defend depositions
- Experience in appearing in court and arguing motions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Admitted to practice law in the state of New Jersey

- We may consider candidates with other relative training or experience to develop an associate capable of handling his/her own files from inception through trial
