Email Me This Job The Village of Ashwaubenon, WI is seeking a Senior Building Inspector. The qualified candidate will work in a team environment for the review of building plans, issue permits, and perform field inspections for conformance with state and local building and zoning codes. Strong knowledge of Wisconsin building codes and construction trades is required. Candidates with multiple state building inspection certifications are strongly encouraged to apply, but candidates that are able to become certified within 24 months of employment will also be considered. Current certification in commercial plumbing inspection is desirable. See full job description regarding required certifications. The position has frequent verbal and written communication with developers, contractors, elected officials, homeowners, and the general public.
