Job Summary: The Banking Center Assistant Manager is responsible for consulting on all bank products and services to customers and non-customers in a needs-based manner. INTRUST Bank banker training will be provided for this position. Successful completion is required. The position is responsible for the daily operations of the banking center, supervising, mentoring and coaching the teller and/or personal banker team for the attainment of goals. Promotes and fosters teamwork across all areas of INTRUST and is focused on delivering a high level of customer service to all. Must maintain strict standards of confidentiality, and perform duties in a manner supporting INTRUSTs Character Qualities.

Essential Functions:

Identify customers and non-customers financial needs and recommend all appropriate products and services.

Service customer's accounts as needed and proactively communicate with customers to ensure their financial needs are met.

Ensure customer satisfaction and service quality according to INTRUSTs Character Qualities.

Supervise, evaluate, inform, and provide direction to all banking center employees.

Assist with the development of goals and plans of action for branch staff consistent with Bank objectives.

Share responsibility of observing each teller weekly with Lead Teller and/or Banking Center Manager.

Complete any other banking center-specific responsibilities as determined by the Banking Center Manager.

Responsible for coordinating new hire and ongoing training for all employees.

Education and Experience: High School diploma or equivalent is required; bachelors degree preferred. Two or more years of banking or management experience is required.

Required Skills and Knowledge: Knowledge of: strong sales and customer service skills; strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to: make independent decisions regarding banking center operations for which there are not always precedents; analyze and solve problems that are of a complex nature, requiring judgment, for which there are not precedents; originate new procedures and approaches to problems when necessary; and perform duties under frequent time pressures.

Required Licenses and/or Certifications: Nationwide Mortgage Lending System Registered or ability to meet qualifications for registration.

Physical Demands: Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds; the ability to stoop and bend; must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time, as required by job duties. Long periods of time will be spent viewing personal computer.

Working Conditions: Normal office environment.
