We currently have full-time and part-time job opportunities for Line Cooks in our 1947 Grill kitchen, which is our fine dining area that serves both lunch and dinner. Honoring the year of our founding, the 1947 Grill offers a spacious venue for members to dine indoors and out.
Our restaurants at Carmel offer our members multiple dining venues including indoor casual dining, indoor formal dining, outdoor casual dining and pub dining. This position may work in those kitchens, as well as 1947 Restaurant kitchen.
Responsibilities include:
* As a line cook in our Carmel kitchen, you are a critical part of the exceptional service we offer our members. You will join a growing team of talented cooks in our beautiful facility, complete with the modern culinary amenities to make the best plates for every palate.
* Variety is the spice of life: From meats and seafood to stocks and sauces, you have experience preparing a variety of foods and are ready to use what it takes to execute all parts of the club s menu offerings.
*A kitchen is your favorite kind of environment: You have experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen, and you do it with a smile, keeping a positive attitude no matter how demanding the service.
* Recipes are there for a reason: You reliably read and follow recipe guidelines and instructions and will be able to execute the club s signature dishes to the highest standards.
* A positive attitude
* Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
* Minimum of 1-2 years of cooking experience; culinary degree preferred
*Team members are required to work evenings, holidays and weekends on a consistent basis.
