Position Summary
There are many moving parts in our operations, especially during combat. That s why our Mobility Combat Systems officers are so crucial. In this role, you ll specialize in coordinating weapons and personnel to achieve mission objectives. Whether it s delivering troops and lifesaving supplies, conducting in-flight refueling, or tracking the weather, you ll be our go-to for finding the optimal course of action.
Primary Responsibilities
- Review mission tasking, intelligence and weather information.
- Ensure aircraft is preflighted, inspected and equipped for mission.
- Navigate aircraft to accomplish mission objectives.
- Conduct and supervise crew member training.
- Develop plans and policies, monitor operations, and advise commanders.

Qualifications
- An undergraduate degree specializing in physical sciences, mathematics, administration or management is desirable
- Knowledge of flight theory, air navigation, meteorology, flying directives, aircraft operating procedures and mission tactics
- Completion of Air Force Specialized Undergraduate Navigator Training (SUNT) or Undergraduate
CSO Training
- Completion of eight-week Officer Training School (OTS) at Maxwell AFB, AL
- Must be between the ages of 17 and 42
