Effy Jewelry is seeking a creative and experienced Retail Store Designer to join our dynamic team. This individual will be responsible for the design and aesthetic of our 150 retail boutiques globally. The ideal candidate will bring a visionary approach to creating immersive and brand-aligned environments that enhance customer experience and optimize retail operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design Development: Conceptualize and implement store designs that reflect Effy Jewelry's luxury brand identity and enhance the customer shopping experience. Create detailed floor plans, renderings, and design specifications for new stores and renovations.
- Project Management: Manage all phases of the design process from concept to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. Coordinate with contractors, architects, and vendors to execute design plans effectively.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure that all store designs maintain a consistent look and feel that aligns with Effy Jewelry s branding and marketing strategies. Develop design guidelines and standards to be used across all retail locations.
- Innovation and Trends: Stay abreast of the latest trends in retail design and technology to keep Effy Jewelry at the forefront of the retail industry. Implement innovative design solutions that improve functionality and aesthetics of store spaces.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, merchandising, and operations teams to ensure that store designs support sales strategies and operational efficiencies.
- Vendor Relations and Sourcing: Select and oversee work with interior design firms, fixtures suppliers, and furniture manufacturers. Negotiate contracts to secure the most favorable terms for design elements and materials.
Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail design, preferably in luxury or high-end markets.
- Strong portfolio showcasing successful store design projects.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and SketchUp.
- Excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across different teams.
- Willingness to travel as needed to oversee design implementations and project progress at various locations.
