At JLG, our award-winning design team thrives on elevating the everyday by connecting people, place, and passion. As Interior Designer I, you will be supported by our Director of Design and be responsible for supporting the design team from front to back in preparation of critical project documentation. You will receive training in the execution of JLG processes and standards, working alongside top-tier design teams to complete graphics, construction documents, and meeting minutes. You will become an integral part of the team, exchanging ideas with the Interior Designer III and Senior Interior Designer to help inform an achievable plan while mapping out the work for project schedule excellence. Interior Designers are the lifeblood of JLG, and we take your field of expertise seriously, in every project from a blank slate to a beautiful finish that impacts the lives of patients, athletes, students, workforce, and community! **A JLG Interior Designer I:**
**- Is educated and ready to gain experience.** You have earned a bachelors degree in Interior Design or Architecture, have anywhere from 0-4 years Interior Design experience, and have plans for NCIDQ certification. Allied professionals may qualify. **- Is software savvy.** You have proficiency in Revit, Enscape, Adobe InDesign, and MS Office. **- Is the curator of creativity.** You follow the trends, but youd rather start your own. Whether its layout, color, material selections, or installations, your creative prowess is a paragon. You know how to interpret current and emerging design trends, and help align JLG with the latest interior design standards by assisting with and organizing the materials libraries. **- Is a conscious collaborator.** When collaborating with the lead designer and project team, you exude excellence. Your top-notch communication skills put fellow designers, clients, consultants, and contractors at ease. **- Is a documentation ace.** Youre ready to master JLGs process for project scheduling and delivery, ensuring design intent is documented and buildable, while monitoring high quality construction documents for alignment with design specifications, and JLG standards.
