JOB TITLE: Maintenance Technician I

REPORTS TO: Supervisor with direction from Team Leader

SHIFT DAYS /HOURS: Working 4 days (10 hours a day) from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. with 3 days off.

STARTING PAY: Starting at $30.00 per hour on up, depending on experience.

We are looking for an Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our Bonnell Aluminum maintenance team that is focused on improving availability, reliability, and work management practices around presses, conveyors, CNC machines, robotics, and other industrial manufacturing equipment.

What You Will Be Responsible For

  • All activities are executed with the focus on delivering the optimum economical solution with equal priorities placed on safety, quality, and protection of the environment.
  • Maintaining and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical components in accordance with regulatory requirements and standard work instructions.
  • Successful execution of the R&M group's planned, scheduled maintenance, work management program, preventative, and predictive activities.
  • Responsible for the execution of all reactive maintenance work and activities to maximize equipment reliability, optimize maintenance costs, and reduce equipment downtime.
  • Maintain documentation and records of repairs, calibrations, and tests for existing and new equipment in the CMMS system.

  • Ability to lift, push, and pull material weighing up to one hundred pounds (100 lbs.).
  • Be able to work on height up to 40' occasionally, using man lift or boom lift.
  • Be very reliable and maintain excellent attendance.

What You'll Need to Have:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Competency of mechanical systems (welding, fabrication, machining, hydraulics, pneumatics, drive systems, industrial pumping, pumps, etc.)
  • Competency or working knowledge of electrical and control systems or journeyman level skill set (wiring, panels, power distribution, PLCs, etc.)
  • State electrical/millwright licensing or technical/electrical training/schooling is a plus.
