Regional Sales Manager (Auto Parts Industry)

Travel: 50% (Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, Kansas, Missouri}
We are actively seeking a dynamic Regional Sales Manager to join our team. In this role, you will lead a team of Territory Sales Managers, driving sales growth in the Central region. The position requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in sales management.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of Territory Sales Managers.
- Recruit, retain, develop, and mentor Territory Sales Managers.
- Conduct quarterly visits with each Territory Sales Manager to assess performance and provide support.
- Take the lead in expanding and maintaining relationships with regional customers.
- Introduce new products to the team, offering necessary support and metrics for effective selling.
- Meet and exceed sales objectives within the assigned region.
- Track and meet key performance indicators (KPIs) for the sales team, including CRM activity, sales call logs, visit frequency, and financial metrics.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive regional and company-wide initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of current sales experience in the Automotive Parts industry.
- At least 3 years of proven experience in Sales Management, overseeing a team of at least 6 salespeople.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in training sales teams.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, demonstrated by successful development of sales teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and sales performance tracking tools.
- Comfortable working in a Sales-Driven and Fast-Paced environment.
- Willingness and ability to travel 50% of the time within the Central region.
