THE ROLE:
As the Vice President of Bioinformatics, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the bioinformatics team while leading all genomics analysis projects
- Leading the development of bioinformatics tools/pipelines
- Scaling all bioinformatics infrastructure and data analysis capabilities from proprietary biological assays
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:
The successful Vice President of Bioinformatics will have the following skills and experience:
- PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, etc.
- Proficiency in Python or Rust within cloud environments
- Leadership/management experience of small to mid-sized teams
- Prior work in a discovery research environment
- Past cell therapy experience highly desirable
- Strong statistics/machine learning background highly desirable
