Shift Leaders & Clerks are responsible for following company policy to ensure the safe and efficient operation of his or her shift. Shift Leaders & Clerks must be legally qualified under applicable state laws to conduct all sales transactions including alcohol and tobacco sales. They may be assigned on any shift. Essential Functions: Guest Service: including greeting customers promptly, offering/providing assistance, suggestive selling, checking identification when selling age restricted products. Operating money order dispenser and credit card imprinter, ringing/bagging purchases, and saying "thank you." Operating mechanical register or POS terminal, gas console: including properly authorizing and controlling gas sales, accurately registering all transactions, handling coins/coupons/food stamps and making change. Stocking merchandise: including keeping shelves, displays, Coolers and freezers filled and faced, keeping coffee pots full, filling ice dispensers, properly rotating stock and checking code dates. Maintenance: including dusting the shelves, mopping the floors, sweeping the parking lot when needed, and dispensing the trash bins for indoor trash cans and outdoor (mainly for night shift workers only) Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Employees working per shift: 1-2 Hours per week: 20-29 30-39 COVID-19 Precaution(s): Personal protective equipment provided or required Plastic shield at work stations Temperature screenings Social distancing guidelines in place Sanitizing, disinfecting, or cleaning procedures in place
