Advanced Systems Group is seeking a Order Entry Specialist to join our team. This position is responsible for performing high-volume order processing to support the order fulfillment and on time delivery expectations of our valued Customers. A successful candidate will be a highly motivated team player with a proactive approach who thrives in a fast-paced environment. They must be detail oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills. We are looking for an individual who can operate as part of a high-functioning team to exceed the expectations of our Customers. This position reports to the Customer Service Supervisor.

****Key Responsibilities include****:

* Ensure Customer orders and order acknowledgements are processed accurately and in a timely manner.

* Process Returned Goods Authorizations as instructed by CSS or CS Supervisor.

* Perform day to day administrative tasks such as maintaining customer order files, customer records, and other information in both paper and electronic form.

* Provide information to Customers regarding shipment tracking as needed.

* Aid Customer Service Specialists and Customer Service Supervisor on various projects as needed.

* Continuously enhance knowledge of products and customer base.

* Recommend improvements to processes and procedures and maintain an attitude of continuous improvement.

* Other duties and tasks as assigned by the Customer Service Supervisor

****Requirements:****

******Education Requirements****** (special training, college degree, etc.)

High School Diploma or equivalent

******Experience******

2+ years related experience and/or training in Customer Service within a general office environment.

Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service including customer needs assessment, understanding of quality standards, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.

CRT keyboard experience typing 40 WPM

Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and an ERP computer system

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Maintain a service orientation actively looking for ways to help people, including external customers, internal customers, and co-workers.

Demonstrated experience dealing with unpleasant or angry Customers while maintaining composure, controlling emotions and being sensitive to others needs and expectations.

Demonstrated experience analyzing information and selecting the best solution.

Ability to work and achieve established results with limited supervision.

Have a positive attitude coupled with a passion for service excellence and spirit of continuous improvement

******Work Environment******

Normal office working conditions. Typically requires prolonged sitting and extensive phone and CRT use.

Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs. may be required for filing and archiving documents.
