Job Title DISTRICT MANAGER Education Bachelor's Degree Job Description District Manager position for multiple clients/states/locations travelling throughout the Great Lakes and Midwest. These locations are made up of manufacturing and distribution clients and some class A office buildings as we service multiple customer headquarters.
Manages/oversees Account Managers/Project Managers and staff. They are responsible for overall customer service at these locations and the financial results. Manages the work within the appropriate budget requirements. Works closely with the customer. Duties included but are not limited to the following:
Direct and supervise scheduling of workload with Account Managers/Project Managers, Supervisors, Leads, and Cleaning Staff.
Maintain daily and weekly labor management control.
Report any issues or problems with operations, ABM personnel, or customer to Regional Director.
Provide an environment that will allow associates to grow and develop skills for future advancement.
Adhere to Corporate, Division, Region, Branch and Customer policies.
Provide support and leadership in special projects/initiatives as directed by Senior Management.
Oversee staff in working methods and procedures.
Promote a safe working environment.
Work with Business Development Manager and/or RAM on selling new locations and services.
Provide customer with outstanding customer service on all levels.
Look for opportunities to sell additional ABM services.
Make sure proper and adequate staffing levels are maintained.
Perform other duties as assigned or applicable.
Maintain working relationship with labor union as applicable.
Minimum Requirements High School Diploma or GED
Bachelors Degree preferred
5+ years of experience in Facilities Maintenance and / or Building Services type business
Union experience required
