Manages National Account retail stores within the assigned territory to drive increased sales and recommendation of Stella & Chewys products. Builds solid relationships and supports the retailer through business reviews, one on one training, group seminars, in-store demos, in-store promotional assistance, providing timely POS, rotating of stock on shelf, and generally assisting the retailer to knowledgably sell & recommend our products. Works under the direct supervision of the National Trainer, and under the general supervision of the Chief Sales Officer (Management). Metrics will include both sales activities as well as sales revenue growth for targeted stores.

**Essential Functions** include the following. Other duties may be assigned by Management.

* Maintains customer relationships by meeting with district managers, store managers, department managers, and employees. Reviews business objective/metrics, sets goals, responds to special requests and educates on company/product benefits to earn recommendation.

* Educates and builds relationships with the store staff through group and individual trainings.

* Drives sales and recommendation through demos at key retail locations during peak sales times.

* Ensures that a proper level of stock is maintained, and that the merchandise is displayed appropriately with correct signage and favorable shelf placement.

* Enhances merchandising and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

* Maintains and enhances product knowledge by learning about products and trends, reading industry publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in pet industry shows.

* Secures and sets up incremental secondary displays to enhance brand presence in-store.

* Is available as needed to assist in Grand Openings and other Store events as necessary.

* Optimizes store shelves by influencing location & visibility of product; removes damaged or expired products; tidies store shelves; provides optimum display of products.

Requirements

* Work a flexible schedule of at least 40 hours per week to maximize Company objectives and time in front of customers and minimize travel. Pre-plan calls and record call results on a timely basis.

* Must have a valid drivers license and meet requirements of company travel policy. Will be issued a company vehicle.

* Maintain accurate records of all customer contacts and produce regular activity reports within the territory utilizing computer and related tools that may be provided by the Company.

* Adhere to all Company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensure they are communicated and implemented within the team. Represent the Company in a professional manner.

* Determines call schedule by reviewing priorities with supervisor; discussing special instructions, product promotions, new products, and price changes.

* Completes call report by observing display and pricing of competitors' products.

* Excellent computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

* Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including the ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
