Our client, a privately held global energy company, is seeking a senior-level attorney with transactional construction experience for a Senior Corporate Counsel role in Duncan, South Carolina. Relocation reimbursement is available for successful candidates coming from outside the Duncan area.
The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of transactional construction practice experience, either in-house or within a law firm's construction practice group. Energy industry experience is especially valuable. This role will report into the General Counsel level and will be responsible for providing day-to-day transactional legal counsel to the company's construction department, including complex contract negotiation, risk mitigation, and claims support. Interdepartmental cooperation with operations, finance, and supply chain management will be vital to the position.
Base annual salary is expected to range from $175,000 to $200,000, depending on qualifications and experience. The complete compensation package is expected to also include bonus compensation.
