**SUMMARY**

Receives transferred stock from the warehouse, loads stock at Letter Shop workstations, prepares outgoing, inserted mail for PreSort or USPS. These tasks and duties are performed in accordance with company policy and Standard Operating Procedures. Employee is responsible for process integrity as described in the SOPs for this position. Employee is responsible for confidentially as described in the DMS confidentially agreement signed annually. Employee is responsible for security as described in DMS security policies and information delivered during the annual securing training.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

* Reads work orders to determine stock items to be moved, gathered, or distributed to workstations.

* Uses the inventory order module within PrintStream accurately based on work order stock requirements.

* Conveys materials and items from the warehouse or production area to storage or to other designated areas using hand-jack.

* Sorts and places materials or items on racks or shelves according to predetermined item code labeling.

* Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials or stock items, which are then distributed to production workers or assembly area.

* Marks finished materials with identifying information.

* Records amounts of materials or items received from the warehouse to the flow-racks in the production department.

* Returns stock from production departments to the warehouse.

* Prepares shipments to the PreSort house or the USPS using proper paperwork or manifest to ensure conformance with company standards.

* Maintains accurate inventory levels at workstations.

* Performs other housekeeping duties as needed to keep work area clean and clear of debris.

* Abides by the policies and procedures outlined in the employee handbook.

**Education and/or Experience:**

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
