CANNABIS PACKAGING TECH

If so, Viridian Staffing's Client is looking for temporary Cannabis Packaging Technicians to work for a two-week assignment at their production facility 10 mins South of Modesto, CA. You should be eager to be a part of a thriving Cannabis company.
Monday - Thursday 10-Hour Shift

As a Packaging Technician, you will be wiping down oil residue from filled vape cartridges, applying CA warning labels to them, boxing them, applying tamper seals to the boxes, applying compliance labels to the boxes, packaging the boxes into sales/ master cases. You may also get to help collect samples and perform tests to ensure quality. You may perform a variety of other processing tasks as needed. While experience packaging cannabis is not required, you should have experience adhering to strict health and safety policies and procedures. Attention to detail and the ability to closely follow standard operating procedures is required. You should also have the ability to sit, stand, twist, AND kneel for up to 8 hours at a time. Requirements
- Ability to stand, sit, climb, twist, and kneel up to 8 hours/day
- Ability to perform repetitive motions with your hands
- Ability to work in climates with varying temperatures
- Attention to detail
- Willingness to take direction
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
- Proven work ethic and reliable transportation
- Ability to arrive on time
- Willingness to comply with OSHA regulations
- Ability to wear N95 mask while around cannabis product.
- Ability to be around plant pollen for 8 hour period of time
- California State Law requires anyone working for a licensed cannabis company to be 21 years of age or older. Must be eligible to work for a licensed cannabis company in the State of California
Pay Rate: $19.00/hr
