JOB TITLE: Sales Representative, Iowa
JOB DESCRIPTION: As the Sales Representative, you will be responsible for creating and building relationships with key retailers (regional chains and independent retailers), on-premise, c-store accounts within your region. You will work with our local distributor partner(s) supporting the portfolio of beverages by working to grow general points of distribution (POD), conduct on-premise promotions, and deliver results on target business objectives created in our Annual Business Plan.
Job Responsibilities
Build the brand presence in retail, on-premise, c-store channels through strategic account
relationships, business development, launching a new market
Snapshot of KPIs
- Calling on 8-10 accounts/day, 40/week
- 2+ events (samplings/demos) per month
- Utilize internal trackers to plan & recap weekly account activities
- Work closely with local distributor teams to expand footprint (GSMs, Education, Ride-withs)
Candidate Profile
Look at the territory with entrepreneurial eyes to seek out new opportunities to increase sales and penetration
Plan and participate in regular distributor training activities including presenting at sales meetings, riding with distributor sales personnel, and distributing new sales material to sales staff
Passion for brand building and comfort in wearing many hats in a high-growth environment
Strong account relationships and experience opening new business//hunter mentality
Seeking 2+ years of Distributor or Supplier Sales Experience in Bev Alch
Demonstrates success working in environments with autonomy and is competitive
Work with designated distributors to meet sales goals and objectives
Communicates and works effectively with the Regional Manager and Business Development Manager on the strategic direction of assigned territory
Maximize the POS exposure in each account
Set up and participate in in-store promotions, dinners, and special events
Organize an efficient schedule including a daily route along with a monthly, quarterly and yearly plan
Prepare monthly paperwork on time in a neat, legible, and professional manner
Keep thorough and up-to-date notes on all existing and target accounts
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Required a minimum of 1 year of Outside Sales Experience (Supplier/Distributor Sales in Beverage Alcohol
Passion for launching, and pioneering a new market
Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to interact effectively with sales reps
Excellent organizational skills and ability to plan effective sales call day
Possess the ability to make effective presentations and communicate effectively
Must be able to build and maintain customer relationships
Understanding of Microsoft Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
